Job Description:
As a Renewable Energy Planning Project Manager with our client, a leading renewable energy company in Ireland, you will oversee the planning and execution of large-scale renewable energy projects.
This is a permanent role offering hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning: Manage and submit planning applications for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Partner Coordination: Oversee joint venture relationships and contracts to drive project success.
* Project Management: Monitor budgets, assess risks, and ensure projects remain on track.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with local communities and authorities to build trust and support.
* Evaluate Opportunities: Assess the feasibility of potential projects to inform strategic decision-making.
* Team Leadership: Lead the team and ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained.
Requirements:
* Education: A degree in engineering, environmental science, or planning, with a postgraduate qualification preferred.
* Experience: 7+ years in project management, with 3-5 years in a senior role, particularly in renewable energy or infrastructure.
* Must have experience with Environmental Impact Assessments in the pre-planning stage of a project.
* Skills: Strong program and contract management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication skills.
