We are presently recruiting for a Legal Secretary for our clients, a well-established practice in County Kerry. Ideally, you will have experience in practice, have experience of using case management systems, and have the ability to multitask and provide administrative and secretarial support to legal executives and the two lawyers in the practice.
Responsibilities:
1. Producing legal documentation such as court papers, contracts, and wills.
2. Accompanying solicitors to police cells or the courtroom.
3. Answering all telephone calls.
4. Being in charge of petty cash while keeping a detailed record of costs.
5. Making appointments for your employer.
6. Schedule court depositions, hearings, and other meetings.
7. Accurately file documents with the court ahead of deadlines.
8. Transcribe and proofread legal documents.
Qualifications for Legal Secretary:
1. 1+ years' experience as a paralegal or legal secretary.
2. Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
3. Working knowledge of litigation management software systems.
4. Ability to type with a speed of at least 50 wpm with high accuracy.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
6. Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. Salary is competitive, open to negotiation, and based on experiences and qualifications.
