Mission
To ensure customer satisfaction within Valeo Vision Systems (VVS) Tuams site and other sites if required.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure customer satisfaction within Valeo Vision Systems (VVS) Tuams site and other sites if required.
2. Prevent non-compliance in production.
3. Lead the production quality improvement plan (reduce scrap cost and maximize first-time yield).
4. Participate in the implementation and/or maintenance of the quality systems and certification within the Tuam site.
5. Coordinate and validate problem-solving (PDCA) following internal and external failures (Quick Response, Plan Do, Check Act and Lessons Learned).
6. Manage the enforcement of the Valeo Quick Response Quality Control rules, deploying QRQC steps 1, 2, and 3.
7. Coordinate product and process audits.
8. Lead the Total Quality axis in the manufacturing site Valeo Focus; ISO-TS.
9. Support quick and efficient solutions to all 0 km and warranty issues by applying the QRQC philosophy and implementing predictive models for reliability and warranty cost exposure.
10. Ensure continuous improvement in all quality indicators (0-KM customer claims, Delivery Performance, Direct Cost of Non-Quality, etc.).
11. Train and coach teams in PDCA-FTA, QRQC, and problem-solving tools, establishing the appropriate mindset in problem-solving attitude.
12. Reach industrial excellence and cost reduction and customer satisfaction through the systematic elimination of 7 wastes to produce right-first-time deliverables.
13. Ability to think logically and define standards based on logical thinking and benchmarking.
Education/Training
Engineering or Science Degree.
Professional Experience
5 to 10 years experience in a similar role, ideally in Automotive.
Other Specifications
1. Proven problem-solving ability, preferably Master Black Belt qualified with extensive DOE experience and logical thinking.
2. Strong communication and organization skills.
3. Team player with initiative.
4. Knowledge of German Language would be a distinct advantage.
