Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Product Owner to drive the strategic and tactical development of our platform improvement initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for translating the product vision into actionable work for the development team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge software and AI projects and optimise the user experience, contributing to Scorebuddy's mission of transforming customer service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Backlog Management and Feature Prioritisation: Develop, prioritise, and manage the product backlog, balancing AI feature requirements and other product enhancements. Break down high-level concepts into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that are clear, actionable, and aligned with the product strategy.
Stakeholder Communication and Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across the business, including executives, sales, marketing, and customer support. Communicate product vision, roadmaps, and updates on progress, while gathering feedback to refine product direction and priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, qa and systems teams to translate product vision into high-quality features. Ensure cross-functional alignment on project goals and maintain open lines of communication throughout the development lifecycle.
User-Centric Design & Testing: Advocate for a user-first approach, prioritising usability and intuitive design. Guide the team in gathering and analysing user feedback and usability testing results to continuously improve the user experience.
Roadmap Execution and Feature Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of new features, coordinating efforts across teams to ensure timely and high-quality launches. Measure feature success against key metrics and iterate based on data insights and user feedback.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess feature performance and validate product decisions. Set success metrics for AI and UI/UX initiatives, ensuring that data informs prioritisation and roadmap adjustments.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a Product Management or Product Owner role, ideally in B2B SaaS or customer service technology.
Experience with AI and machine learning applications in software products is highly desirable, especially around areas of GenAI and cloud based AI services platforms (OpenAI, Anthropics, Deepgram, etc.)
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design best practices, with experience leading projects that improve usability and user satisfaction.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including experience with Jira or similar tools for managing product backlogs and prioritising development efforts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical mindset: Comfortable with data analysis and KPI tracking to guide product decisions and assess feature impact.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with AI service platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Deepgram) is a big plus.
Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma.
Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies, is a bonus.
