Manager, Business Operations (District) Job-Specific Tasks & Duties:
1. Have a TBP with the DM or support and contribute to the Tactical Business Plan of the district.
2. Drive full and proper usage of existing systems and tools by operations.
3. Introduce new processes and performance expectations to the district.
4. Train and coach operations in providing meaningful feedback on new processes, systems and tools.
5. Drive the GBO strategy and collaborate with other resources.
6. Address local market conditions and regulations that may hinder the district.
7. Identify opportunities to improve quality, service, compliance, and profitability.
8. Provide training for every employee in Process Management Fundamentals.
9. Monitor performance standards and promote behaviors to close the performance gap.
10. Coach in root cause analysis and effective problem solving.
11. Align with RBO and work alongside the district and regional ED&A / IS.
12. Communicate the measurable impact of process improvements.
13. Drive the Management Review Meeting within the district.
14. Support external, internal and customer audits (ISO, GDP, etc.).
Required Skills:
* Expeditors Product and Service knowledge.
* Strong PC skills, including experience with Microsoft Office. Power BI, Sharepoint and Visio preferred.
* Understanding of Lean principles and effective problem-solving techniques.
