Safety Officer
A 12-month limited contracting role at our Dublin 15 facility.

Role
* Implement and apply the company's health, safety, quality and environmental policy, procedures and management systems.
* Advise project teams on compliance with legislation and company procedures.
* Promote a positive Health and Safety culture on site.
* Develop and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
* Evaluate EOHSS compliance on site through regular inspections and reports.
* Develop and implement robust site EOHSS procedures to ensure statutory and environmental safety obligations are met.
* Review relevant EOHSS plans and documents.
* Host and lead EOHSS meetings on site.
* Liaise with onsite project teams as required.
* Review and comment on risk assessments, method statements, and lift plans.
* Counsel contractors on EOHSS best practices.
* Communicate with local authorities and external bodies regarding EOHSS matters.
* Influence project teams in implementing EOHSS standards.
* Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters to management and employees.

Requirements
* Health & Safety qualification is essential.
* Experience in an EOHSS role is necessary.
* The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience within the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
* Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft suite are required.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
* Strong stakeholder management skills are necessary.
