Role is for Maternity cover – 9 months – with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience within an accounting environment and will be confident with reconciliations, financial reporting and HMRC/Revenue returns preparations. They will be competent using Excel, experience using SAP Business One would be beneficial but not essential.
Key Deliverables:
1. Daily Sales Reporting
2. Debtor / Creditor Reconciliations
3. Bank Reconciliations and other ad hoc banking duties
4. Preparation of VAT, Intrastat, Vies & CSO Returns
5. Preparation of the relevant HMRC returns
6. Provide support in the preparation of weekly management accounts and KPIs
7. Provide support/cover to other members of the finance team – invoice processing / sales orders etc
8. Other ad-hoc duties as required
Skills & Experience:
1. An individual with experience in a similar supporting financial role
2. Strong experience with Excel
3. Previous SAP experience is desirable but not essential
4. Strong prioritising skills with the ability to take on challenges as opportunities
5. Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement
