Your Role
As a Graduate Quality Assurance, you will assist in creating and executing testing plans within the Agile (Scrum) framework to help validate and verify the quality of our solutions. This position provides numerous opportunities for growth and the potential for a long-term, fulfilling career with us. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing, developing, and documenting application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all product offerings.
* Creating, implementing, and maintaining test coverage for regulatory technology applications.
* Collaborating in an Agile team with QA Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to shape product offerings.
* Executing testing for each sprint or testing phase and conducting exploratory testing during development.
* Analysing and documenting bugs and customer issues using Jira, ensuring proper tracking and reporting on testing activities.
* Prioritising testing tasks, scenarios, and test cases effectively.
* Following and contributing to QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
* Holding a Level 7 or 8 degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Science, Commerce, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
The following skills are preferred but not required:
* Strong analytical skills to identify comprehensive test scenarios.
* Good understanding of test automation concepts.
* Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Protractor.
* Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
* Brief knowledge of BDD frameworks and tools like Cucumber.
* Experience with test script creation.
* Knowledge of database testing.
* Familiarity with QA processes and methodologies, with the ability to create effective test cases.
* Experience in regression testing, compatibility testing, system testing, black-box testing, and UAT.
