Reporting to the Dean/Executive Dean and the FNM Operations and Education Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating, administering and managing the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery activities.
The primary role is to oversee day-to-day administrative operations and coordination of the Faculty's activities, supporting the Executive Dean, Dean and Board Members in discharging the functions of the Board as required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing day-to-day administrative operations and coordination of the Faculty's activities.
* Supporting the Executive Dean, Dean and Board Members in discharging the functions of the Board as required.
* Supervising administration staff in the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery office.
* Supporting the Executive Dean in relation to Audit and Finance and liaising with the finance department.
* Supporting the Executive Dean in relation to Business planning, implementation and review.
* Attending relevant committee meetings as directed by the Executive Dean.
* Supporting the Executive Dean in managing and coordinating the operations of the Faculty.
* Assuring Board management compliance.
* Working with the administration team, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery leadership and academic staff to plan and deliver the strategic objectives of the Faculty, both short and long term.
* Executing the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery strategic plan.
* Coordinating all data to assure the Faculty meets its strategic and operational objectives.
* Coordinating the strategic action plan dashboard.
* Coordinating stakeholder engagement plans.
* Coordinating internal staff meetings.
* Managing the operational efficiency, coordination and delivery of educational, training and professional development programmes.
* Overseeing administration management, development and support processes.
* Developing and implementing robust market engagement, stakeholder management, quality management and communications processes.
* Supporting the Executive Dean in the development and management of budgets and annual business planning processes.
* Developing strong trust-based relationships with key healthcare, policy, regulatory and clinical stakeholders.
* Managing administrative staff and support services, including ICT staff where required.
* Liaising with RCSI ICT staff to ensure compatibility and compliance with RCSI IT Policies.
* Organising an efficient handover/transition to the returning post-holder.
This is a fixed-term temporary post, and the post holder may be required to work additional hours to carry out duties associated with the post. Time off in lieu may apply.
