Matrix Recruitment are recruiting for our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, who is seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of a global change project.
This role involves regulatory and compliance oversight, strategic stakeholder engagement, and operational execution in a fast-paced, international environment as well as supporting the management of sub-custodian and market information to clients, investment managers and partners.
Previous experience working in and a strong understanding of the role of a global custodian and back-office settlement services are a strong advantage.
This role is based in Limerick and offers a hybrid working model.
It is initially a contract up until December 2025 with the expectation of being extended until mid-2026.
Your new job Key duties and responsibilities: Lead and support the delivery of a cross-border transformation project in a regulatory-driven environment.Drive contractual alignment with third-party service providers, contributing to negotiation and compliance oversight.Coordinate onboarding processes for market participants and infrastructure members, as required.Liaise with operational teams to ensure smooth account setup and asset transition workflows.Oversee regulatory and oversight reporting activities with external parties.Manage KYC compliance efforts with service partners and custodial institutions.Develop and maintain structured reporting tools to ensure project visibility and control. What are we looking for? Strong understanding of asset servicing, the role of a global custodian, custody operations, or back-office settlement services.Demonstrated experience in business analysis within capital markets, investment services, or financial technology environments.Skilled in requirement elicitation, gap analysis, process mapping, scope and benefit definition.In-depth understanding of core custody functions including settlements, entitlements, Nostro management, and treasury operations.Collaborative team player with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to adapt to evolving systems, processes, and technology platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interpret and translate technical and business issues.Confident in managing stakeholder meetings and driving outcomes with both operational and technical participants.Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving capabilities.
