Due to continued business growth Apleona is recruiting an Area Manager to cover Munster Region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As Area Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations, overseeing a portfolio of around 25 sites whilst leading and motivating a team of direct reports.
You will operate consistently within company policy, ensuring our services meet customer expectations by making the best use of the resources available to you.
Control wages spend in line with agreed budgets set by the Account Manager and Account Director.
Monitor client satisfaction and service delivery on a weekly/monthly basis, through client meetings, and weekly/monthly call logs/complaints reports.
Carry out random and pre-planned cleaning audits as requiredEnsure the Health and Safety of all employees, clients, and the public.
Ensure that site documentation is maintained and correct.
Ensure products, equipment and materials fall in line with the agreed budget and are properly stored, used, maintained, and controlled.
Ensure activities are undertaken in line with quality management, Health and Safety, legal requirements, environmental policies, and duty of care.
Uphold, safeguard, and promote the Company's values and philosophy relating to ethics, integrity, and corporate social responsibility.
Requirements:
Working Knowledge of the Cleaning Management Industry is preferable with a strong focus on Soft Services (Contract Cleaning)Understanding of Working Time Directive, Employment Legislation, however, training will be implemented.
Knowledge of Health and Safety awareness/training, training will be implemented.
IT literate and understanding of systems/technology in the industry.
Financial and budgetary experience above a value of €1 millionAbility to support, motivate and lead a team to develop and achieve through regular coaching and one-to-oneExcellent communication skills, at all levels and both internally and externallyStrong team working ethic and flexibilityFull Driving License Required, Mileage and Expenses providedYou must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
