SUPERVISOR: Director of Maintenance
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.50 - $22.00 per hour.
This position is classified as Non-Exempt/Hourly under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
In addition to your hourly pay, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.
A valid driver's license and insurability are required for this role.
JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces, including lawns, flower beds, and trees.
This role involves performing various landscaping duties to ensure our grounds are well-kept and inviting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain the appearance of our lawns through regular mowing and edging.
2. Trim grass and weeds in hard-to-reach areas using hand tools and power equipment.
3. Trim and prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and enhance their appearance.
4. Cut down and remove trees as needed.
5. Water and fertilize plants and flowers to ensure optimal growth.
6. Prepare and maintain flower beds, including planting, weeding, and mulching.
7. Clean and maintain garden tools and equipment.
8. Maintain accurate records of activities and repairs.
9. Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc.).
2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks as needed.
2. Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
3. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
