Overview
This part-time, permanent role as a Dietitian involves managing the nutritional care and dietetic requirements of patients diagnosed with renal failure in collaboration with our Clinical Nurse Managers in Wexford.
About the Role
As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for clinically and professionally managing the nutritional care of patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) through complex dietary manipulation to achieve optimal medical and nutritional status while avoiding nutrition-related complications or disease progression.
Requirements
* B.Sc. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics recognized by the Department of Health
* Diploma in Dietetics and Nutrition from Dublin Institute of Technology/BDA Renal Course or equivalent
Experience and Skills
* 1-2 years post-graduate relevant work experience in dietetics
* Proficiency in English is mandatory
* Knowledge of renal dietetics and renal replacement therapies is advantageous
* Ability to plan and organize service delivery, communicate effectively, and use problem-solving skills to meet patient needs
Certifications and Qualifications
* Registration or eligibility for registration with CORU as a Dietitian
* Continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
