Job Description:
We are a leading recruitment agency in the field of Semiconductor, Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tool installation tasks independently, from setup to final testing, with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Follow all procedures rigidly and ensure correct SOPs and schematics are available prior to performing installations.
- Ensure systems are installed as per procedures satisfactorily through testing of equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation, and diagnostic techniques.
- Respond to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
- Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked, and non-conformances.
- Adhere to the safety and security policy and quality standards of the client and its customers.
Requirements:
- Technician, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar technical background.
- Some experience or knowledge with CVD/CMP/EPI tools would be an advantage but not required.
- Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical problems during system installation.
- Ability to communicate efficiently through daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
- Project management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline, and installation quality requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Confident in English to work with colleagues and experts from all over the world and to read plant documentations and schematics. Company language is English.
- Good Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- The position requires extensive travelling throughout Europe, up to 90%.
