Access to Care Advisor - Theatre Scheduling
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in the UPMC Cleaboy office in Waterford.
The Access to Care Advisor will be part of an integrated team across our UPMC healthcare services that will simplify Access to Care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate patient access to our services and healthcare professionals.
* Ensure effective communication with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
* Provide administrative support for smooth running of our services.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Schedule patient procedures and pre-assessment appointments in a timely manner.
* Collect and confirm patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
* Communicate with ancillary departments and consultants regarding theatre schedules.
* Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics defined for the department.
Requirements:
* 12 months' experience in a similar role or healthcare setting.
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Secretarial studies.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience with healthcare systems, including i Pims, desirable.
