This popular, award-winning four star hotel in central Dublin is currently recruiting a Reservations Manager to assist in maximising hotel revenue, working closely with the wider hotel team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Deal with reservations and customer enquiries via phone and email
2. Ensure reservations are taken accurately and in a helpful, friendly manner
3. Ensure all email correspondence is responded to in a timely and accurate manner
4. Ensure use of proper telephone etiquette in answering calls
5. Manage group blocks, managing cut off dates, deposits and contracts
6. Maximise rooms and other revenue sales through efficient revenue management
7. Support and guide the Reservations team
The ideal candidate:
1. At least two years’ experience as Reservations Manager in a large, quality hotel property with solid mix of business: corporate, leisure, C&B
2. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
3. Strong knowledge of Property Management System
4. Strong customer service ethos and background
5. A can-do attitude and the ability to work well in team
6. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer software
7. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
