We are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented and experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing, analyzing and managing contracts related to sales deals, while optimizing sales processes and ensuring the smooth operation of our deal desk for our EMEA sales team. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of sales operations.
Responsibilites:
1. Deal Desk Management:
2. Oversee the entire contract lifecycle management including, contract creation, negotiations, approval, execution and storage.
3. Ensuring efficient processing and timely approval of sales deals, while maintaining smooth deal desk operations.
4. Serving as a trusted advisor, provide guidance and support to sales representatives in structuring and negotiating deals ensuring alignment to company policies and profitability goals throughout the deal process.
5. Review and approve custom pricing, discounts, and contract terms.
6. Sales Process Optimization:
7. Identify opportunities for quote-to-cash process improvements, refine methodologies, and contribute to driving efficiencies in the deal review and approval process.
8. Implement best practices and tools to streamline sales operations.
9. Configure and optimize workflows, track contract milestones, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
10. Develop and maintain a centralized deal playbook that outlines key contract terms and conditions, providing negotiators with clear guidance on defending, offering variations, or marking provisions as non-negotiable.
11. Monitor and report on key sales metrics, deal progress, contract status and performance indicators.
12. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
13. Work closely with finance, legal, and product teams to ensure alignment on deal terms and conditions.
14. Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales and cross functional teams.
15. Training and Development:
16. Train and mentor sales team members and stakeholders on deal desk processes and best practices.
17. Conduct regular training sessions to keep the sales team updated on new tools and processes.
18. Compliance and Risk Management:
19. Manage approval workflows and ensure adherence to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.Obtain and document required approvals, such as for discounts and non-standard terms.
20. Identify and mitigate risks associated with sales deals.
Qualifications:
21. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
22. 5+ years of experience in sales operations, with a focus on deal desk management.
23. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
24. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
25. Proficiency in Sales Force and sales analytics tools.
26. Experience with DocuSign is preferred
27. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
