The Byrne Hotel Group has an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Executive to join our dedicated marketing team. The main duties of the role will be social media planning and content creation for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and responding to queries, posts, and messages.
This position will suit a creative and innovative individual with a keen eye for detail, strong social media experience, and excellent communication skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Review and update our online presence and platforms to include social media channels.
* Graphic design of menus, brochures, wedding-related material, and to liaise and help with other design work when requested by staff.
* Create photographs, social posts, reels, boomerangs, and video clippings for the hotels as necessary.
* Schedule social media posts across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram (and Stories) weekly and on any future platforms.
* Work closely with our Group Digital Marketing Manager on website photographs and OTA channel photographs and imagery.
* Take photos and videos for any events or special occasions being held in the venues, e.g., weddings.
* Compile weekly and monthly metrics to show follower growth and social channel impressions.
* Write content for the websites, ads, newsletters, and any other digital platforms.
* Assist in wider marketing campaigns and with all F&B marketing and promotions.
* Communicate all weekly work with the Group Digital Marketing Manager.
* Develop and enhance any imagery that is produced to give the best image of the hotels, F&B services, and any other hotel activities.
* Take initiative and be creative with new innovative growth strategies.
* Perform research and data analytics.
* Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
* Update photo and video content on Google Business, TripAdvisor, Bing Places, and Yelp.
* Research competitor social channels and provide suggestions for improvement.
* Any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the hotel managers and/or group directors.
Experience and Skills
* 1 - 2 years previous sales and marketing experience in a hospitality environment.
* Flexibility required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
* Strong creativity and innovation required when implementing new concepts.
* Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both verbal and written.
* Flexibility with working hours, working 5 over 7 days, with priority given to new social and sales opportunities.
* Able to work under pressure and multi-task.
* Excellent organizational skills and strong selling and interpersonal skills.
