Project Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead impactful projects in our fast-paced technical environment. This is an exciting opportunity to manage diverse projects from scope development to handover, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead integrated project teams to deliver on business cases, focusing on process improvements, capital projects, and lean initiatives.
* Manage projects from scope development through design, build/install, and qualification.
* Develop and maintain project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Coordinate and present project stage gates to the Capital Approval Committee.
* Utilize risk-based approaches for troubleshooting and future project planning.
* Collaborate across functions to integrate projects into ongoing operations, technical transfers, and validations.
* Act as a subject matter expert on equipment design, qualification, and compliance standards.
* Promote lean methodologies, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making within the team.
* Drive continuous improvement by participating in system investigations, change control, and Kaizen events.
* Integrate Computer Systems Validation (CSV) activities in collaboration with Automation/IT teams.
* Partner with global engineering services, facilities, and vendors to deliver projects on time and in full.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience leading capital projects (>$5MM) and technical teams in a manufacturing or sterile environment.
* Technical Knowledge: Expertise in sterile filling processes, aseptic processing, equipment validation, and regulatory standards.
* Skills: Strong project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in lean six sigma methodology.
* Collaboration: Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally, manage vendors, and drive safety and compliance.
* Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma is advantageous.
