AuxiliaGroup Recruitment is seeking a Purchasing Manager for our client, an established company in the fmcg sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Co. Wicklow.
Role:
* Oversee sourcing, supplier management, demand forecasting and production planning.
* Manage all suppliers of raw materials.
* Negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with key suppliers, transport companies, and subcontractors.
* Source and purchase raw materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Ensure zero stock outages for key SKUs and develop safety stock levels for all lines.
* Monitor sales orders and forecasts in order to ensure stock availability to meet orders.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the ERP for raw materials, finished goods, and new SKUs.
* Continuously improve planning and supplier collaboration processes.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar position.
* Background within an SME size company preferred for this opportunity.
* Ability to develop and implement effective demand strategies.
* Proficient in data analysis and forecasting to inform decisions.
* Skilled in securing favourable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
* Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
