Programme Manager – Electronics required by IoT multinational in Clare to lead and oversee a portfolio of R&D electronics projects. This role involves ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to high-quality standards. Reporting directly to Senior Management, the ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in managing projects within an Electronics R&D setting. This role requires a strategic vision for end goals while also engaging closely with project managers to drive progress through incremental improvements and hands-on support.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
* Project Management qualification.
* 5 year’s proven experience in programme or project management within an Electronics R&D field.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
* Experience working with Agile, Waterfall and other project methodologies.
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira.
* Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop a robust project management process based on industry best practices and customized to meet the unique needs of the organization.
* Collaborate closely with project managers and technical leaders to ensure consistent application across all projects. This process will encompass the entire project lifecycle—from initial concept and design through to high-volume manufacturing—integrating all functions involved to achieve seamless, efficient execution and delivery.
* Create detailed project plans that define scope, objectives, timelines, resources and deliverables for each project within the program.
* Develop processes and tools for tracking effort, estimating workload and planning demand versus capacity.
* Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to keep projects on budget and on schedule.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders—including clients, team members and leadership—to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
* Proactively identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and support successful project delivery.
* Closely monitor project budgets, making necessary adjustments to achieve financial objectives.
* Establish quality control procedures to ensure project outputs meet the required standards and specifications.
* Ensure open and transparent communication among stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and any challenges faced.
* Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to boost efficiency and effectiveness across projects.
