This company continues to go from strength to strength. They now have a number of manufacturing team leader roles open across the business – this company has a very solid presence globally in the med tech markets and are now looking to add an additional 2 production supervisors to the team. They have a really low level of staff turnover and an excellent benefits package in place.
For this hire they are looking for production supervisors coming form a strong technical background in med tech, electronics or automotive.
Your will be responsible for the following;
·Lead and motivate a team of highly skilled operatives and technicians.
·The day-to-day running of the manufacturing areas under their remit.
·Quality, efficiency, wastage, mix and safety within the area.
·Ensure that formal goals are reviewed on a regular basis and that formal performance reviews are carried out bi weekly.
Day to day
·Optimise the use of human resources by encouraging an atmosphere of involvement, open communications and effective teamwork.
·Motivate employees and build teams to support the plant's policy of continuous improvement towards the concept of zero defects.
·Ensure safety standards are met and safe-working practices are adhered to including waste management.
·Ensure that any events that have the potential to cause environmental loss or damage are reported immediately.
·Participate in all EHS awareness activities.
·Ensure the area is operating to standards set by Manager.
·Ensure all employees are performing effectively and efficiently.
·Ensure area is operating to the required quality levels.
·Ensure all documents are adhered to and ensure GMP requirements are maintained.
·Ensure area is working within budgeted cost constraints.
·Liaise directly with all service departments in an effective manner to ensure support services are fully utilised.
·Ensure production schedules are met.
·Ensure regular appraisals are carried out and training needs identified, training plans agreed and completed.
·Maintain a positive attendance management procedure.
·Ensure all direct reports are fully trained with regard to safety, method and efficiency and maintain all relevant training records up to date.

·The roles are being offered on a day basis for now Monday to Friday but they do intend on moving to a 3 cycle shift in the future and they will seek that commitment from you at this stage.
·As part of the recruitment process, pre interview, candidates are asked to complete a test online which takes about 45 minutes to complete.
