We’re looking for an Associate Level Director within Ground Engineering to join our office in Dublin.What can we offer?We work for leading Irish, UK and international clients and have commissions of varying scale across all sectors, including:TII Greenway and Highways schemesUisce Éireann Waste Water ProjectsDfI (Northern Ireland) Highway schemesNorthern Ireland Water ProjectsJob Duties include:Deliver: Leading the team in project delivery, work winning, workload management, staff development, growth plans, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and raising the company profile.Provide Expertise: Extensive experience, knowledge and skills in geotechnical engineering and/or engineering geology, including the ability to undertake and check geotechnical design, calculations and analyses.Ensure Quality: A strong working knowledge of Irish and UK ground conditions and ground investigation techniques and practices.QualificationsHere’s what we’re looking for:BEng / MEng in Civil Engineering or BSc / MSc in Geology, Engineering Geology - Chartered Geologist or Engineer status is required.Strong analytical skills together with in-depth knowledge and experience in the application of current design codes and guidance documents in ground engineering, soil-structure interaction, geotechnical design and construction of shallow and piled foundations, earthworks, strengthened earthworks, ground treatment and retaining structures.Proven track record in the delivery of ground engineering projects in the UK and Ireland.Extensive knowledge of Irish Rail, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and Department for Infrastructure design and reporting processes.We celebrate diversity and believe it enriches our team.
