The successful Associate Director Electrical will report to the Technical Director and will be responsible for supporting a multidisciplinary team for multiple Data Centre projects in Ireland and Mainland Europe.

Responsibilities:
Primarily focused on electrical systems, the role requires a good working knowledge of mechanical services relevant to mission-critical facilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of resilience and redundancy in mission-critical electrical systems, along with significant experience in designing robust power distribution networks.
Developing and defining the initial design concepts for data centre layouts and infrastructure, aligned with the end-users' requirements.
Cost and value engineering is necessary to refine initial concepts, working closely with Estimation team to develop an optimal proposal for client consideration.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary design team is required to implement and complete the designs established during the concept phase.
Providing engineering advice and assessments across all sites, addressing technical challenges during procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Overseeing and/or generating root cause analysis reports when errors or omissions are identified.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
10 years+ Experience including 5 years+ experience in a senior role.
Experience working on Data Centre projects is essential.
Chartership or working towards chartership.
Strong analytical skills are crucial to evaluate the initial information provided, identify any gaps, and communicate effectively.
Experience working with an M&E contractor or consultancy in Ireland or the UK is essential.
IT Skills Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Must be flexible to visit sites in Ireland and Mainland Europe when required.
