We are hiring for our client, a property in Co. Kerry, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing fresh, high-quality breakfasts and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency in presentation and quality.
* Manage the breakfast service, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of meals to guests.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
* Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients as needed.
* Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth handover for lunch service.
* Assist with any additional prep work required for other meal services when needed.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to the Head Chef.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within a high-end or luxury property.
* Strong knowledge of breakfast preparation techniques and ingredients.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent time management.
* A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to work early mornings and weekends as required.
