Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Fabricator and Warehouse Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with composite materials, metal fabrication, or similar industries, and will be extremely self-motivated. You will lead the fabrication and delivery of products from start to finish, including material ordering, blade modifications, and product installation. Input into our fabrication line, designs, and safety systems will be expected. Some travel to Clare may be required, to work collaboratively with our designer. Flexibility, and the ability to turn your hand to other tasks required in working with a start-up is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing safety and handling systems
* Cutting, repair and handling of FRP blade material, according to safety specifications.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and paint spraying safely and efficiently.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
* Ordering of materials, and warehouse management
* Arrange transport logistics, and some van driving
* Work collaboratively with CEO and designer to improve production processes
* Some prototyping of new products and fixings
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fabricator, Welder, Woodworker or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in working with composites, wood, or metal materials.
* Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
* Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
* Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
* Experience in creating jigs & fixtures is a plus.
* Forklift certified is a plus.
