Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
We are currently working with a leading bakery in Co. Wexford to recruit a skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMP, Pest Control, Plant Hygiene, and Internal Audits.
* Ensuring product quality consistently meets agreed specifications and is delivered to customer expectations.
* Management of all aspects of food safety and fostering a Quality Culture throughout the business.
* Collaboration with site management and team leaders to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
* Training of all site staff to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
* Leadership and support of site audits, including third-party, customer, and regulatory audits.
* Management of the hygiene department and external cleaning contractors to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
* Planning and implementation of corrective and preventive actions as required to address non-compliance or process improvements.
* Ensure company policies and operational standards are consistently met.
* Identification of opportunities for cost reductions while maintaining high product quality.
* Compliance with site health and safety requirements while performing all duties.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in a relevant field.
* 3-5 years' experience in a Food Safety or Quality Assurance role, ideally within a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
* Strong auditing experience (internal, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits).
* Proven experience in managing people and leading teams.
* Flexibility and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in using computer systems and software.
