As a Learning Solutions Designer, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to design and implement high-quality learning solutions. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and eLearning technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences that support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Instructional Design:
* You will work closely with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and translate them into instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training content, virtual instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.
* You will develop learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, and scripts that align with organizational goals.
* You will utilize instructional design models and adult learning theories to create engaging, learner-centered content.
* You will develop performance assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure learner success and identify areas for improvement.
* You will work closely with Learning Solutions Developers to create interactive, multimedia-rich eLearning courses.
2. Project Management:
* You will manage multiple instructional design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
* You will communicate project status, challenges, and successes to the team and other stakeholders.
3. Quality Assurance & Evaluation:
* You will conduct quality reviews of training materials and eLearning content to ensure accuracy, engagement, and alignment with learning objectives.
* You will implement feedback from stakeholders and learners to refine and improve course content.
* You will analyze training effectiveness using metrics such as learner satisfaction, knowledge retention, and performance improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year college or university and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate environment.
* Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and eLearning best practices.
* Ability to translate complex information into engaging, learner-friendly content.
* Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
