The Logistics Supervisor plays a pivotal role in enhancing productivity and efficiency, ensuring that the logistics operations run seamlessly.
This position is key to helping the company achieve its targets while delivering top-notch products promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily work operations and provide direction to the Logistics Team As the Supervisor you are required to have the factory audit ready at all times To train any new staff that come into the factory as per company SOP's as the textbook Interacts with internal and external customers, by meeting regularly, responding to requests and explaining procedures Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (CCP`s, Food Safety and Quality SOP) Leading and motivating operatives and team leaders/chargehands to achieve KPI's to the best of their ability Develop operatives by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, applying progressive disciplinary action as appropriate and conducting formal performance reviews.
Monitor and improve line / equipment capacity to meet business needs.
Liaise with and collaborate with the Technical Department to ensure that the product is being produced to the highest levels of quality.
Implement team meetings and ensure all staff understand their goals and objectives and how they relate to the site business plan.
Develop work schedules with Logistics Manager for departments by assessing priorities, workload and available resources.
Report daily to Logistics Manager/Operations Manager on adherence to schedule & all other reports required.
To ensure that product traceability and record keeping of same is carried out in continuous, diligent, and accurate manner at all times through both paper records and through the company Emydex system.
The facilitating of a lean culture and coaching towards this.
Requirements Must have previous logistics experience at supervisor or chargehand level within a manufacturing environment Experience working in Food Manufacturing is beneficial but not essential A skilled communicator with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives and problem solving skills.
Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and other common software tools.
