Title: Lead Aircraft Service Agent
Reporting to: Ramp Controller and Ramp Manager
Role: To perform the main tasks outlined in a professional and courteous manner,focusing on delivering the highest standard of safety and customer service.
Main Tasks:
* The delegation of tasks in a turnaround operation in order to achieve a safe and on time departure of customer aircraft while ensuring the quick delivery of incoming passenger baggage.
* Liaise with cargo runner when requiring outbound cargo or when inbound cargo is offloaded and ready for delivery to warehouses.
* Liaise with baggage hall Lead Agent to ensure you have last bag in plenty of time for an on time departure.
* The ability to manage a loading crew successfully and efficiently.
* To ensure their team complies with the airport authorities & company procedures regarding safety issues and other relevant policies.
* Check equipment for Fuel/charge before arrival of aircraft.
* Ensure all electric vehicles are put on charge by your crew after each flight.
* If a delay is incurred, ensure you fill out a delay report.
* To ensure your crew are wearing the correct issue of uniform & PPE provided
* To monitor schedule changes in the Aomis
* When a flight arrives out of schedule, ensure you have the maximum available resources to perform a quick turnaround.
* To maintain contact in a professional manner with other departments within the company and also to our customers to ensure a smooth operation.
* Ensure R/C & dispatcher are informed of any issues on flights.
* Ensure you do not have more equipment than necessary on flights & liaise with equipment co-ordinator or R/C if equipment becomes available or if left around the airport.
* When allocated a trainee for shadowing, try to expand their knowledge as much as possible, this will benefit everyone. Location of steps, GPU's, cargo warehouses, baggage hall are particularly important while ensuring tasks such as stacking of bags in hold or on float are carried out correctly, familiarising new staff with the operation of SHP equipment and ensuring they carry out their job in a safe manner is also important.
* Brief crew before arrival of departure time so all are aware of the time constraints.
* Ensure load plans are completed correctly & in good time. Note load location on load plan & bingo cards.
* Ensure to manage breaches of safety and procedural by utilising the compliance system when require on your crew and to inform your manager.
* To provide accurate quarterly performance assessment on your crew to your manager.

Minimum Requirements
* 1 year of ramp experience (working in the Airport as an Aircraft Service Agent in the Ramp Department)
* Must be available to work 5 days out of 7 (Weekend work involved)
* Must have a valid B EU/Irish/UK driving licence
* Must be willing to work unsocial hours
