As a key member of the CPS Digital Delivery Team, Digital Manufacturing Systems, Manager is empowered to lead and support efforts to digitize and transform Digital Manufacturing Systems in CPS. You will work collaboratively with cross functional business partners across the CPS network to understand business needs, identify digitization opportunities and help to deliver those opportunities with the support of Platform Services (IT) and the broader CPS Transformation, CPS Functional and CPS Operations teams. The position will oversee a range of digital initiatives and will be responsible for ensuring that each project delivers its anticipated value.
We seek an individual who is adept at building collaborative relationships, has a deep understanding of operations management and digital technologies, and can lead Agile project management to achieve our strategic goals.
What You'll Do for Us
* Lead digital technology projects within manufacturing scope, delivering streamlined, digitized, and improved business processes and tools.
* Lead the backlog management for the digital manufacturing products.
* Support CPS operational and functional leaders in their digitization initiatives by grasping their requirements, procedures and removing any obstacles to ensure solutions align with business needs, collaborating with the Manufacturing Transformation and Operational Excellence Team.
* Act as a liaison between application development/support and CPS Operations/Functions, translating business needs into application requirements and leading the technical implementation (TIP, Rollout, Support and Documentation), supported by the Manufacturing Transformation and Operational Excellence Team for the Roadmap, Change Management, Training and Impact Evaluation.
* Monitor critical metrics to track success.
* Monitor, within manufacturing scope, technology trends, best practices, and external benchmarking to improve our processes and systems with a focus on simplification, standardization and automation.
* Drive Agile adoption, leading Agile teams to deliver incremental value to the business and managing backlog and release management.
Requirements & Qualifications
* University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years of experience with practical knowledge in operations, and process improvement.
* Proficiency with digital tools such as visualization tools (Power BI), automation tools (Power Automate, PowerApps), and ERP tools (SAP S4/Hana).
* Good verbal and written communication skills: Ability to engage and influence stakeholders, explain complex information clearly, and manage communication with external parties such as customers and vendors to foster collaboration and innovation, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives and project outcomes.
* Skilled in managing Agile teams and implementing Agile project management methodologies.
* Ability to manage a portfolios of digital project initiatives, ensuring value realization by defining and tracking KPIs.
* Competency in problem solving and designing innovative solutions.
* Expertise making recommendations for technology-driven business process improvements based on cost/benefit analyses.
