This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain invaluable experience through our Internship Program. HPE Operations’ Research and Development centre in Galway is one of the largest centres of software engineering in the West of Ireland. As a system/software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to HPE Services Digital Experience with opportunities to gain experience across a broad range of modern technologies. You will be enthusiastic and versatile and take on new problems across the full stack. You will communicate effectively and be motivated to achieve results as part of an Agile team.
You will be customer focused and be given the time to learn in depth about software development practices, latest tools for software development and frontend technology, as well as our Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Senior engineers will mentor you on your way. You will be part of a Scrum team that regularly delivers well-tested releases and responds to the needs of customers.
