Project Manager Role
Our client, a renowned building contractor in Ireland, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects valued over €30M from start to finish, with excellent career opportunities and a competitive salary awaiting the right individual.
The Role:
* Plan, Organize, and Direct: Develop project plans and schedules, and execute plans to achieve agreed outcomes, ensuring timely delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
* Comply with Health & Safety Aspects: Implement company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment on site.
* Coordinate Project Activities: Work with subcontractors to implement the company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
* Manage Day-to-Day Site Operations: Oversee subcontractors on site, manage their performance, and ensure adherence to program of works and production targets.
* Resolve Critical Site Issues: Proactively address issues and take decisive action to maintain project momentum.
* Deliver Successful Projects: Lead the team through the project life cycle, applying leadership, management, technical, and engineering expertise.
* Agree Subcontractor Programs: Collaborate with subcontractors to agree long-term and short-term programs, monitor performance, and adjust as necessary.
* Maintain High-Quality Standards: Ensure the highest level of health and safety and quality is upheld at all times on site.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* 5+ Years Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in construction in Ireland, with a strong understanding of the Irish market.
* Project Management Expertise: Must have experience as a Project Manager of projects over €20 million, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Educational Qualifications: Hold a third-level qualification in construction management or civil engineering, or a similar field.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent delegation, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
* Technical Knowledge: Have good knowledge of quality and safety management systems, with the ability to generate detailed site reports and maintain accurate records.
* Leadership and Time Management: Ability to drive projects forward, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
* Health & Safety Certification: Possess an excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites and hold a valid full Irish driving licence.
