Advance TRS are recruiting for 2x Quantity Surveyors to work in the Power & Renewables Sector with a leading international multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor, delivering high-value solutions to major blue-chip companies.

Key Responsibilities
Project Cost Management
Validate tender budgets, ensuring all scope is captured and identifying any risks.
Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, updating them weekly.
Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts.
Process payment certificates and ensure payments align with agreed sub-contract terms, including retentions.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly commercial project reports, including cost plans, cash flow forecasts, schedule updates, and risk assessments.
Contract Management
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage contract variations and disputes.
Administer contract obligations, issue interim and final accounts, and manage progress applications.
Work closely with project planners and managers to ensure accurate progress reporting.
Procurement
Oversee procurement in collaboration with the Project and Procurement Teams.
Evaluate and negotiate tenders and bids to secure best value.
Manage supplier and subcontractor selection, ensuring all orders follow company procedures.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
Risk Management
Identify and assess project risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Document and communicate risk management activities.
Report potential commercial risks to Senior Management and follow directives.
Client Management
Liaise with clients, project managers, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
Negotiate commercial and contractual matters confidently.
Attend project meetings and provide expert input on cost and contractual issues.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Conduct and manage interim commercial meetings with clients and the internal project team.
Team Leadership & Development
Work independently and collaboratively to execute various project stages.
Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and team members.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, loyalty, and dedication to achieving project success.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
