Role Overview
The Marketing & Sales Assistant will play a key role in supporting both sales and marketing initiatives, helping to execute strategies that strengthen the brand and support revenue growth. This role is ideal for a graduate or a professional with 1-2 years of experience in marketing or sales. While mentored by senior leaders, the successful candidate will be encouraged to take ownership of responsibilities and proactively contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Coordination: Assist in coordinating sales-related activities, including reporting, lead tracking, and CRM updates (Salesforce).
2. Customer Engagement: Provide customer service support, including responding to inquiries and coordinating follow-ups.
3. Marketing & Promotions: Assist with promotional activities, trade shows, and industry events.
4. Website & Content Management: Regularly update the company website, create relevant blog content, and ensure consistency across corporate channels.
5. Social Media & Digital Marketing: Support webinar setup, content sharing on LinkedIn, and other digital marketing activities.
6. Internal Marketing Communications: Help manage internal communication regarding the marketing plan and associated activities.
7. Event Planning & Logistics: Support the planning and execution of events, including scheduling and logistics.
8. Salesforce & Data Management: Upload leads, track campaigns, and monitor Salesforce user groups for sales team opportunities.
9. Administrative Support: Assist with sales team administrative tasks, such as travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and handling expense reports.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential:
1. 1-2 years of experience in a marketing & sales role (B2B experience preferred).
2. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
5. Organised, proactive, and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
6. Experience in LinkedIn, email marketing, and basic website management.
7. Attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks accurately.
Desirable:
1. Degree-level education in marketing or a related field.
2. Experience in the technology, data, or consulting industries.
3. Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools.
4. Knowledge of SEO and website analytics.
5. Experience using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
