Job Summary
Vardis Cleaning is seeking an experienced Cleaning Contract Manager to oversee and manage multiple cleaning contracts. This role involves contract compliance, client liaison, staff scheduling, payroll processing, and ensuring high-quality cleaning services across office and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Client Management
1. Oversee multiple cleaning contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and service requests.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
Staff Scheduling & Payroll
1. Create and manage daily schedules for the office cleaning teams.
2. Oversee and optimize industrial cleaning schedules, ensuring workforce efficiency.
3. Process payroll for all cleaning staff, ensuring accurate timekeeping and compliance with labor laws.
4. Track and manage staff attendance, overtime, and leave requests.
Operations & Compliance
1. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines and risk assessments.
2. Manage budgets for labor, cleaning supplies, and equipment procurement.
3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment and equipment maintenance.
4. Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance cleaning efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Proven experience as a Cleaning Contract Manager, Facilities Manager, or similar role.
2. Experience in payroll processing and staff scheduling.
3. Strong understanding of cleaning industry regulations and quality control measures.
4. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and performance effectively.
5. Knowledge of workplace health & safety standards.
Skills Required
1. Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
2. Leadership and team management abilities.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and cleaning management software.
4. Detail-oriented with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
5. Ability to handle multiple contracts efficiently.
6. Ability to work under pressure as this is a fast-paced environment.
7. Experience in working with the Time gate system.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Certification in Facilities Management, Payroll Processing, or Cleaning Industry Standards.
2. Experience managing both office and industrial cleaning contracts.
3. Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices and sustainability initiatives.
