Location & Times:
Unit 16, The Hub Logistics Park, Bracetown, Dublin 15
9:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday. 09:00 to 16:30 Friday with hour lunch break each day. Total 37 hrs per week.
Depending on experience / qualifications.
Purpose:
This job exists to support the fortnightly payroll function and all associated tasks.
Key Activities:
* Maintaining all staff records from set up of new employees to acceptance of new employees into payroll and T&A system. Issuing staff letters, completing social welfare forms related to payroll.
* Processing fortnightly payroll importing timesheets into payroll, all reporting / queries, tax credits processing, Revenue administration.
* Processing fortnightly payroll payments to bank adhering to strict deadlines.
* Dealing with payroll queries in relation to hours or tax from Operations staff and or Operations Supervisors over the phone and by email.
* Carrying out budget checks on wages hours paid against charge out budget to clients. Updating contract budgets in our system.
* Liaising with HR team on any staff / compliance issues as required.
* Maintenance of filing system in organised manner for all payroll records.
* Assisting Office/ Payroll Manager in day to day office activities by carrying any out other administration duties of a reasonable nature.
* Assisting Office/Payroll Manager with any new or ongoing projects related to payroll.
Reporting to: Office/ Payroll Manager.
Performance Skills:
Must have a high attention to detail and excellent communication, organisation, listening, diplomacy, teamwork and multi-tasking skills.
Suitable candidate must take pride in and understand the importance of finishing tasks allotted each day / month.
Confidentiality is key in this position and a full understanding of GDPR is necessary (training given).
Technical Skills:
* Excellent written, reading and oral English.
* Excellent computer / keyboard / accuracy skills.
* Excellent literacy skills including spelling and grammar to ensure effective business communication by e-mail, letter.
* Advanced Microsoft packages skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook.
Experience:
* Some relevant payroll / administration experience is an advantage.
Qualifications:
* Leaving Certificate Education Level as a minimum.
Personal Attributes:
* Diplomatic personality with pleasant demeanour and calm disposition.
* Ability to prioritise workload under pressure.
* Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative.
