We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join the team.We are looking for a Sales Director to come join an established team of Sales Executives. This is a leadership role where you'd have a team of Sales Executives underneath you. You will report to the Vice President of Sales. The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through a combination of individual sales efforts and team leadership. This role demands a strategic thinker who can execute high-impact sales strategies while mentoring and managing a team of talented sales professionals.Responsibilities:Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.Identify and secure new business opportunities in the data center sector with key strategic clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners (Fortune 500).Team Management: Lead, mentor, and continue to develop a high-performing sales team.Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.Market Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the data center space.Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.Operational Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align efforts and optimize outcomes.Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management using CRM tools.Work alongside the product and engineering teams to ensure seamless transitions with clients.Requirements:8+ years of proven experience of exceeding sales targets in the data center or related industry.8+ years of experience in both individual contributor roles and managing sales teams.Strong understanding of data center technologies and solutions to communicate with strategic partners and clients.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to travel to client sites, conferences, and trade shows. 30% to 40% of the year.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.Bonus BUT NOT REQUIRED: Experience with Stakeholder management, logistics, or Six Sigma.
