About Our Team
Digital customer experience sits at the heart of everything we do. We require a passionate digital product owner to join the team in helping us launch, manage, and grow our digital services.
This role will champion the customer, ensuring all new product developments and initiatives improve our digital customer experience and align with our business objectives.
We're looking for someone with strong business acumen and experience in customer-centric digital product management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage project/product backlog and prioritisation throughout development and product lifecycle.
* Understand primary business goals and align them with products development.
* Manage all aspects of 123 digital product from ideation, development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
* Develop product initiative roadmap and manage roll-out of each.
* Liaise with senior management and cross-department, implementing feedback into actionable outcomes.
* Work closely with Marketing, Digital, and IT teams throughout product lifecycle.
* Ongoing management of product development.
* Ensure product built to agreed requirement and spec outlined from outset.
* Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders during product evolution, including monitoring and reporting on product adoption and performance.
* Take ownership of product performance ensuring key KPI's and goals met.
* Research, assess, and develop improvements to maximise product performance.
* Excellent communicator with ability to translate requirements across numerous business functions.
* Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Experience coaching team members in Agile PO best practices.
* Comfortable taking responsibility for product performance and owning role of identifying, planning, and implementing change.
* Presenting and challenging key business stakeholders common practice.
* Work closely with multiple departments including IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Compliance, and Customer Care.
* Strong understanding of customer behaviour and savvy with market insight reporting tools and analysis, drawing insights from data.
* Numbers don't intimidate, comfortable with financial assessment practices and benefit analysis reporting.
* Advocate for customer in all interactions with business regarding product direction and decision making.
Requirements:
* Min 5 years' experience in similar role.
* Previous experience working as digital product manager or product owner within B2C consumer business, online/e-commerce, digital marketing, digital agency, or similar.
* Qualifications in marketing, project management, web development, or behaviour science preferred.
* Experience working within Agile frameworks and with Agile teams.
* Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on key initiatives.
* Previous experience in digital marketing and conversion rate optimisation a distinct advantage.
* Ability to act as mentor and coach to other Product Owners and Business Analysts on team.
* Evidence of managing digital project from initial concept through to launch.
* Good understanding of digital technology and its evolution.
* Analytical thinker comfortable making data driven decisions.
* Work experience in financial services company an advantage but not essential.
* Proficient in all MS suite of tools.
