Glanbia is seeking an experienced Network & Network Security Vendor Manager to join our Network & Technical Security team. This role is responsible for the relationship with our managed service partners and in delivering a best-of-breed support experience to our internal customers. This role will be the main point of contact for our network & network security partners’ for day-to-day operations and service-related matters. The role will work collaboratively with Glanbia’s service partners, business stakeholders and internal colleagues to develop and implement mutually agreeable solutions.
The Network & Technical Security team support a global network spanning 150 locations worldwide – manufacturing plants to warehouses and corporate offices to datacentres. The network must support seamless transmission of business critical applications, internet and cloud services. The organisation has embarked on an all-encompassing digital transformation with a Cloud-first strategy that requires a major evolution within the Network & Network Security technologies. This role will be involved in the delivery of the Network Transformation programme of work.
This is a permanent, hybrid role and can be based in Citywest, Dublin or Kilkenny.
Role & Responsibilities
* Manage the relationship with all network and network security service partners
* Provide consistent communication between Glanbia and network/security partners, so that any service issues are highlighted, recommendations made and targets achieved through collaboration
* Ensure the managed service partners are delivering to agreed SLAs & KPIs, assessing measurement of and reporting on the SLAs and KPIs
* Analyse service partners’ delivery of incident management, change management, problem management and risk management, ensure accurate measurement and reporting
* Provide insights into current service delivery levels and drive improvements
* Coordinate monthly service reviews & quarterly business reviews with managed service partners and internal team
* Liaise with service partners and network engineers on delivery of programme of work, ensure effective project management in place for all network & network security projects
* Escalate issues, risks and problems appropriately, ensuring correct level of visibility and priority
Requirements
* Strong vendor management experience is essential, proven negotiation skills
* 5 to 10 years’ experience in network-related service delivery/ customer service role
* Proven ability to appropriately interpret data and utilize a range of analytical tools to constructively challenge, test assumptions and identify improvements in service delivery
* Ability to manage expectations of key stakeholders
* Experience with program management and resolving resource constraints within a team and with service partners
Preferred qualifications/skills
* Very good understanding of network infrastructure and delivery of those solutions
* Previous exposure to network industry and managed service partners
Where and how you will work
The base location of the role will be our office in Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24 with hybrid working arrangements available.
