Local Data Analysts are part of Clinical Drug Supply (CDS) providing key system data powering our supply chain to ensure we deliver the right drug, to the right patient, at the right time.
Position Brand Description:
A key role in master data management is the Local Data Analyst (LDA). The LDA creates, changes, and maintains local plant master data utilizing established processes and serves as a key technical resource at the operational level. The Local Data Analyst drives master data solutions for the local site and ensures master data management processes lead to consistent and accurate master data for site and supply chain operations.
Key Objectives / Deliverables:
1. Executing key data maintenance and data design for master data in SAP and associated systems.
2. Creating and maintaining local formal Standard Operating Procedures and training materials.
3. Determining the impact of local and/or global changes while ensuring global data consistency and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Identifying and participating in or leading process improvement initiatives.
5. Troubleshooting SAP and other area systems for execution problems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
6. Investigating deviations and providing impact assessments for change management.
7. Contributing to global initiatives for Master Data Management as required.
8. Maintaining a safe work environment and supporting all Health Safety and Environmental Corporate and Site Goals.
Basic Requirements:
1. Site / Manufacturing / or Sales affiliate knowledge or equivalent data management experience.
2. Knowledge in ERP software (preferably SAP).
3. Evidence of attention to detail.
Additional Skills / Preferences:
1. Demonstrated ability to analyze, anticipate, and resolve complex issues through sound problem-solving skills.
2. Motivation to educate self and others.
3. Proven ability to build relationships internally and externally.
4. 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or data management.
5. Flexibility in adapting to a non-routine fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent (i.e., supply chain, computer systems, engineering, science preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Other Information:
1. Work shift: Full time, normal work shift.
2. Travel required (% of time) – 5-10%.
