At Turmec, we are currently growing our team and are looking for dedicated, skilled Metal Fabricators/Welders to join our expanding team to assist in delivering small and large-scale projects in Ireland, the UK and the wider international market. The Welder/Fabricator duties will include:
* The role will require the candidate to undertake general metal fabrication.
* This role does involve some heavy lifting and requires the candidate to be physically fit and able to work on their feet for the full shift period.
Key Requirements
* 3 years previous experience in the manufacture of Mild Steel or Stainless-Steel fabrications required.
* High standard of welding experience to a suitable standard in MIG welding.
* Safe-Pass and Manual Handling desirable; Abrasive Wheel training not essential but preferable.
* Candidates must work to CE EN1090 criteria.
* A good understanding of spoken and written English is essential.
* The ideal candidate must be self-efficient and be able to work unsupervised, on their own initiative, but also be a team player.
* Good attendance and time keeping.
* Upon employment, candidates must undergo and pass weld tests.
* Own car needed for this role.
