About the Role
My client are seeking six skilled Automation Technicians to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining automation equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with quality standards. You will play a key part in supporting production efficiency, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automation equipment, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using systematic root cause analysis.
* Lead and implement process improvements while adhering to change management and cGMP requirements.
* Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and projects.
* Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure timely ordering of necessary components.
* Cross-train team members and support knowledge sharing within the team.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, GMP, and quality standards at all times.
* Flexibility to travel for equipment buy-offs or training as required.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 6 qualification in Mechanics, Automation, or a related field.
* Experience in the medical device industry is highly desirable.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly (written and verbal).
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with computerized systems.
* Commitment to safe working practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Must be flexible for shift work (4-shift cycle, 7am–7pm).
