Engineering Project Specialist
Team Horizon is seeking a Engineering Project Specialist for a leading pharmaceutical company in Mayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely coordinating and leading projects associated Facility, Utility and Equipment Projects. Key areas of responsibility include but (not limited to) on time and budget delivery of Site Capital projects to be carried out in compliance with EHS and cGMP requirements. Projects include Building infrastructure e.g. Grade A, B,C and D Cleanrooms and associated HVAC and Utilities e.g. Purified Water Systems, Compressed Air, Chilled and Cooling Waters systems.

What you will be doing:
4. Complete established goals, prioritizing project work, controlling, and coordinating key activities and improvement efforts across the Utilities Services.
5. Drive and lead projects to meet Safety, Environmental, GMP, Production and Financial Objectives.
6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory & standards when completing projects.
7. Ensure effective cross-functional relationships with Operations Stakeholders and above site
8. Stakeholders (i.e. Meridian Drawing System).
9. Reviewing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Equipment and Instrument Specifications, Instrument Lists (IL), Layout & Routing Diagrams, Installation Plans & requirements.
10. Compliance wire admin for the tech services group.
11. Extension of training records, optimisation of required training.
12. Setting up new hires with required training.
13. Running reports on upcoming training and overdues.
14. Annual ciricula clean up.
15. Opening DCC’s for Engineering SOP updates.
16. Additional admin training for the role.
17. Additional training for Administration roles.
18. Controlled drawings support, including:
19. Help resolve IT issues with the controlled drawings.
20. Update of AutoCAD licenses.
21. Employee assistance on gaining access to the controlled drawings
22. Support with audits i.e. generating PDF’s and printed copies.
23. Ensure compliance with all regulatory & standards.
What you need to apply:
24. Third level qualification in an Engineering or equivalent discipline/experience.
25. Minimum 3 years experience of working in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals / Medical device, or similar industry.
26. Project management experience with a proven record.
27. Good communication and Interpersonal skills required to operate in a multi-function project team set up.
28. Ability to work within a team using your own initiative to articulate and deliver specific requirements for all aspects of Shutdown and work with members of various disciplines and functions.
29. Ability to work closely with other areas/departments within an organization.
30. Good communication and interpersonal skills required to work in a multi-function, matrix team and organisation.
31. Experience of H&S, HSA and QA requirements.
32. Proven ability to maintain schedules.
