Key Responsibilities
* Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
* Monitor and interpret contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
* Setting out using various instruments chosen by the company.
* Supervise and monitor subcontractors' work.
* Report progress of works to Package Manager and highlight any issues.
* Provide technical guidance and resolve unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
* Quality management and BCAR coordination.
* Adhere to planning, health, and safety, and environmental standards.
* Weekly and monthly reporting of data and information to site teams, key stakeholders, and partners.
* Other ad-hoc duties required by the Company from time to time.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Engineering (Civil/Structural).
* Significant experience in a busy Site Engineer position with either a Developer and/or Main Contractor.
* Strong setting out experience using equipment such as Total Station and GPS.
* Full clean, manual driver's license is essential.
* Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
* Strong attention to detail.
