Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join a dynamic Transport and Logistics business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
2. Oversee and manage the finance and administration team.
3. Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
4. Monitor and report on financial performance, costs, and budget variances.
5. Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
6. Manage accounts payable, receivable, and tax compliance.
7. Oversee month-end processes, including reconciliations, payroll, and fixed asset management.
8. Provide financial insights and reporting for senior management and board meetings.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven post-qualification experience.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
* Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
* Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
