Are you our next Corporate Citizenship Assistant?
Location: Dublin 2, as part of our hybrid working model.
Grade: Assistant
Contract type: 5 month fixed term contract
The Corporate Citizenship Assistant reports to the Head of Corporate Citizenship & Diversity and looks after all KPMG Ireland's volunteering activities, charitable engagements, skills-based volunteering, donation requests and supports the Inclusion, Diversity and Equity agenda.
This role includes:
1. Maintaining and updating all relevant communications including - intranet web pages, external communications, Business Impact Plan, writing news stories/publicity of programmes on Eolas
2. Providing support for all the education programmes - Time to Read, Time to Count, Mentor Programme, Junior Achievement, EPIC programme, Doodle Dens, Accountancy Grinds, STEM passport, Career Buddy programme, Fighting Words.
3. Provide support on initiatives such as:
- Project Bright
- Charity Walk
- Shoebox Appeal
- Old Folks Party
4. Manage the Volunteering Teams channels and ensuring regular content and ways of engaging the network around the firm.
5. Arrange Team volunteering days for individual business units engaging with organisations including St. Michael's House, Flossie & The Beach Cleaners, Friends of the Elderly and Ronald McDonald House
6. Track all volunteer names, hours, numbers, contributions so we can measure Impact both locally and globally. Annually we have over 19,000 volunteer hours.
7. Work with key stakeholders such as Children's Books Ireland and Business in the Community Ireland on our various engagements.
8. Assisting with Sustainability campaigns and communications.
9. Supporting our IDE strategy with helping on various events/activities such as the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, Connect@KPMG, IDE Download, etc
10. Maintain all associated payments/invoicing/donations with Accounts Payable
The Ideal Candidate will have:
11. 2-4 years relevant experience
12. A recognised third level degree in any field
13. Event management & communications experience
14. Proven track record of juggling multiple projects
15. Highly organised
16. Have a 'can-do' attitude
17. Skills in management and tracking of all funding/expenditure, etc
18. Proven ability to adapt and be flexible
19. Demonstrate they work well in a team environment and can motivate people
20. Good knowledge and understanding of Irish charity sector
21. Excellent oral and written communications
