About the Role
Civil Engineer sought to join a multidisciplinary team working on nearshore marine projects, particularly in the subsea cable sector. The company specialises in installing Marine Electricity Interconnectors and Offshore Windfarms Export Cables.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct site investigations to gather data on subsurface conditions.
* Analyse soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to assess stability and suitability for construction.
* Support detailed designs and project delivery for subsea and landside cable projects.
* Perform analysis and interpret data to design foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks.
* Develop and implement field-testing procedures.
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or relevant discipline (marine and environmental).
* Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in contracting or consultancy.
* Strong technical and organisational skills.
* Ability to lead design development, manage workload, and liaise with clients.
* Knowledge of another European language (beneficial but not essential).
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
