Commercial Finance Manager My client is a highly successful Irish group based in West Dublin.
Due to continued growth they are now recruiting for a newly created Finance Manager to join their commercial finance team.
This position will enjoy a high level of exposure to senior management and offers the opportunity to gain commercially focused experience in all aspects of the finance function Reports to: Divisional Financial Controller.
Main duties: Business partnering Playing a pro-active role as part of the wider Commercial Division team Helping the Commercial Division deliver on its targets Explaining finance concepts in an easy to understand manner to non-finance people Making a valued contribution around commercial and operational decision making within the Commercial Division Ad-hoc projects as required.
Financial reporting Assisting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts Preparing commentary / explanations for variances to budget and prior year Preparation of month-end reconciliations Preparation of ad-hoc P&L, balance sheet and cash flow financial analysis KPI reporting and analysis Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements Bringing uniformity to divisional finance reporting and developing new reporting solutions to meet the needs of the business.
Budgeting / forecasting Assisting in the production of annual budget Assisting in the production of in-year forecasts Aiding in the development of long-term financial planning for the Commercial Division Cash Management Assisting in the preparation of cash flow forecasts Preparation of working capital analysis including stocks, debtors and creditors Liaising with banks and other credit providers on day-to-day queries.
