Realtime recruitment is currently on the lookout for a proficient Infrastructure Project Manager to lead crucial projects for a top client within the vibrant Financial Services sector located in Dublin's city center. This role is perfectly suited for individuals possessing a solid technical foundation, ideally those who have previously thrived in roles such as Network or System Engineers before transitioning into project management positions.
The selected candidate will be instrumental in driving the success of critical infrastructure projects by applying their technical and managerial skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Take on direct hands-on management of infrastructure enhancements as well as complex software migration initiatives, ensuring technical precision and timely execution.
* Lead Data Centre relocation projects from the planning phase through to successful execution, focusing on strategy development and risk mitigation to ensure seamless transitions with minimal operational disruption.
* Uphold best practice standards in data center operations, while balancing the expectations of various stakeholders to ensure a cohesive project environment.
Your Skills & Experience:
* Technical Background: Applicants should have robust experience in technology environments, with a career beginning as either a network or system engineer, progressing to roles that intensify technical and strategic responsibilities.
* Project Management Expertise: You should have at least five years of direct leadership experience in significant technology-related project initiatives, particularly those focusing on migrations and infrastructure enhancements. A proven track record in navigating complex project landscapes is crucial.
* MS Office Proficiency: High-level competency in Microsoft Office is essential for effective project documentation and management of multiple concurrent tasks.
* Knowledge of JIRA, SQL and/or Business Intelligence reporting tools (such as QlikView) a plus.
